Received CLEP Credit for 4 college classes before ever taking a college course for Spanish. Being enrolled in an engineering degree I am constantly learning math and I used to help students with it when I was in high school.
Experience
Taught as a missionary for two years. Became fluent in Spanish during this time. Helped several other missionaries to learn and improve their Spanish. I believe that the best results come from practice. When I came back I challenged the CLEP test and received 4 semesters credit for College level Spanish- the highest the test offered. I am working towards a minor in Spanish. I enjoy helping others and love to teach. I have helped several native Spanish speakers with their English and coworkers from Myanmar. Having learned a second language I am better able to explain English to those of different backgrounds.
